In line with its philosophy of ‘improving lives’, Ricoh India celebrated the World Red Cross Day 2016 by organising a free health check-up camp for the residents of Jaitpur Extension, on the outskirts of South-East Delhi, India. The medical camp witnessed Ricoh’s technology expertise by leveraging company’s remote healthcare delivery platform for conducting remote diagnostics and live consultations at the camp site.
This camp was conducted in association with the Indian Red Cross Society with on-ground mobilisation and implementation by MediHelp Foundation, a local NGO having domain expertise. The day-long free health check-up camp made available facilities such as consultation on internal medicine and gynaecology, blood tests, eye check-up, free distribution of frames and lenses and medicines, to nearly 400 residents who registered for the check-up. It was also attended by the leadership team along with a team of doctors, nursing staff and volunteers from the Indian Red Cross Society, Ricoh India and Apollo Hospital (SaritaVihar).
The camp was well organised and much appreciated by the guests and the local community. This project was made possible with invaluable contribution from countless individuals who feel a strong connect with the cause and the noble thought inspiring it. This initiative was an expression of Ricoh’s philosophy of always integrating the three Ps – People, Planet and Profit – in the conduct of its business.
