The world’s leading brand consultancy, Interbrand, in its latest ‘Japan’s Best Global Brands Ranking 2016’, places Ricoh at number 18, up two places from last year. According to the study, the Ricoh brand is valued at US $1.2 billion (an increase of $15 million from 2015). Interbrand calculates brand value using its proprietary method, which is the same as that followed in ‘Best Global Brands’.
According to the report, “Maintaining and growing brand value in the electronics and technology sector requires companies to be at the very forefront of changes in consumer behaviour and innovation surrounding their products and services.
”The ranking is a tribute to the dedication of each business unit and each employee in supporting Ricoh’s brand value. Through global consistency, the brand is creating greater momentum in the market, and consolidating its position as a global technology leader.
