Ricoh’s Manufacturing 360° event in India’s manufacturing hotspot, Pune

In an endeavour to grow business in remote areas and drive vertical solutions, Ricoh organised manufacturing vertical event (Mini 360°) in Pune on 22nd January 2016.

Ricoh-Manufacturing-2The objective of the event was to showcase the company’s end-to-end solutions for manufacturing sector – targeting enterprise and nonenterprise customers, as well as small & medium size companies. Mr. Sangamnath Digge (Plant Head, CVBU Pune, Tata Motors), and Mr. Anup T Jain (Head – Car Plant, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors) were the chief guests for the event. They inaugurated the event along with Mr. Shubhankar Lahiri (Business Head, Manufacturing Vertical, Ricoh India), and Mr. Kunal Dasgupta (ROM, West Region, Ricoh India).

The following solutions were displayed and demonstrated in the day-long event:

  • Design & Engineering Solutions: NX CAD/CAM/CAE Solution, Teamcentre PLM Solution, 3D Printers, Wide Format Print-Scan Solution
  • Shop-floor Solutions: Realtime Automated Machine Productivity (RAMP) Solution, Machine Vision Systems
    Office Automation Solutions: Barcode Label Printers, Multifunction Printer, Laser Printers, Managed Document Services
  • Collaboration Solutions: Projection Solutions (including Ultra Short Throw Projector), Unified Communication Systems, Interactive White Board Solutions for remote collaborative meetings
  • End-to-end IT Solutions

The event was attended by 200+ customers from the manufacturing sector. It included many ZBA accounts as well. The event had significant participation from MDs/CEOs, R&D heads, Design & Engineering heads, Manufacturing & Operation heads, IT heads, and other senior personnel from various functions like Manufacturing, Design, R&D, Supply Chain, IT, Quality etc. Some of the notable companies that were represented included Tata Motors, Thermax, Bharat Forge, Forbes Marshall, JCB India, Sandvik Asia, Cummins, among others.

The Ricoh team got the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with key decision makers and influencers. Further, there were around 50 leads generated during the event for varied solutions. All the leads are made available in CRM and both enterprise and non-enterprise teams are working on them. Demonstrations and technical discussions, wherever required, are also being planned.
